Sales - Business Analyst
Title: Sales - Business Analyst Location: US-AR-Rogers Other Locations: Colgate-Palmolive invites applicants to apply for our Business Analyst position. The ideal candidate should be able to: * Provide category analysis for category reviews and new item introductions. * Utilize findings to make recommendations to the Category Advisor/Category Development Manager. * Assist the Account Managers with information for customer presentations. * Conduct retail store audits to troubleshoot problems and monitor competitive activity. * Understand brand strategies & priorities. * Initiate & synchronize brand strategies/priorities with customer strategies. * Assist in achieving flawless execution of new product initiatives. * Work with Account Managers to provide information to aid in development of effective account plans, and follow-up on execution of the approved plans. * Provide information to determine the effectiveness of promotions through post-analysis, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. * Manage the use of syndicated data integrated with consumer buying behavior to understand basic marketing fundamentals and determine opportunities to expand our business. * Provide monthly category/brand updates. * Compile brand and category overviews to support Colgate Planning Process. * Focus on the basics: market shares, retail pricing, trade support, distribution, market growth/decline on a national basis, then by retail environment and customer. * Monitor category/segment/retail environment trends to assist in brand planning. * Evaluate sales, distribution and trade support of new products, re-launches and test markets. Candidates should be mobile throughout the United States. * B.A./B.S. degree or appropriate work experience
