Job No. RX130008 Location New York (Melville, Long Island) Company Corporate Category Customer ServiceCustomer Satisfaction Representative Summary: Providing Customer Satisfaction to all of our; Distributors, Brokers, and Regional Sales Managers. Relocation is not available for this position. Location:New York (Melville, Long Island) Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Allocate orders when necessary. Expeditiously process customer orders reviewing prices, promotions, discounts and product availability on orders for given territory. • Sending Purchase Order Confirmations to Customers and/or Brokers. This includes date order received, case count, item numbers, product descriptions, ship/pickup date, terms of sale and estimated time of arrivals. • Communicating order discrepancies to customers in a timely manner. • Process revisions as necessary. • Ensure orders are shipped on time to meet the customer’s requested delivery date. • Order Entry required. • Must be able to follow Hain policy while acting as the champion for the Customer. • Work with Regional Sales Managers, Expeditor and Manager to expedite orders at month and quarter end. • Processing claims and assisting with follow-up on damages, donations and returns. • Maintaining a database of Customers and Brokers in their region or channel of distribution. • Inform Customers, Regional Sales Managers and Brokers of company changes in advance. • Must be able to multi-task. • Work with Deductions staff to quantify purchase order discrepancies. • Other duties as assigned. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience in a distribution environment. • 2 to 4 year College Degree Preferred. • Strong Customer Service experience, written and verbal communications. • PC experience including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
