Senior Manager of Supply Chain Strategy
Job Descriptions: This position will be responsible for supporting the supply chain planning, retail forecasting and replenishment related initiatives. * Identify supply chain strategy related opportunities and lead process re-engineering efforts related to planning, retail fulfillment and sustainability * Infuse thought leadership related to retail replenishment, integrated planning, sales and operations planning and inventory productivity * Project management and coordination of supply chain business initiatives related to cost to serve model development, supply chain balanced scorecard, support for OshKosh four season calendar, Osh Kosh mall store and inventory turns * Function as subject matter advisor for cross functional initiatives which include supply chain operations such as; RFID strategy, packaging optimization, Good-Not-For Sale project, micro-supply chain enablement etc * Assists with the continuous review and prioritization of the strategic roadmap, supply chain best practices model development and maturity measurement * Lead the business case development and benefit realization measurement for initiatives * This position requires the ability to function as trusted advisor, objective consultant and strong program/project manager. The potential candidate will program manage corporate supply chain initiatives that would be in the realm of supply chain planning, fulfillment and sustainability. * This role will function as the subject matter expert and program manage the following key initiatives; 1. Enhanced Retail Replenishment 2. Cost To Serve model development 3. Balanced Scorecard development 4. Supply Chain support for OshKosh mall stores * The candidate for this role will function as a liaison for the following key initiatives 1. Goods Not for Resale Spend Assessment 2. Brand facing organization structure development Required Experience: * Cross-functional, multi-channel supply chain leadership ability. Working knowledge of the consumer goods industry and apparel * Analytical thinker with the ability to anticipate, identify, prioritize, and solve problems quickly and accurately * Strong presentation skills and a high level of organization * Effectively communicate with all levels of diverse organizations * Demonstrate confidence, innovative thinking, and a strong sense of initiative * Expert level capabilities in MS Office * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives with a “hands on” approach * Possess the ability to lead a high performance team and influence the direction of others * BS or equivalent work experience in a technical field, with a focus in supply chain systems * Experience leading large-scale projects in a “best practices”, process driven consumer product environment * 5-7 years experience within the supply chain industry * Occasional travel required, both domestic and international Keyword: supply chain From: Carters, Inc
