Partner Development Specialist
Description Role Overview The Partner Development Specialist builds key relationships with vendors and focuses on filling advertising space with qualified, paying partners. This role acts as a liaison for the vendor, offering advice and support in a vast array of areas, including advertising, training, sales incentives, sales analysis, interdepartmental communication and promotions. The Partner Development Specialist also maintains close working relationships with CDW Product Managers and Brand Managers.
Key Areas of Responsibility * Sell advertising space to partners. * Work with partners to create yearly/quarterly advertising budgets. * Contact applicable partners to participate in advertising activities. * Communicate co-op account information to Product and Partner Management Teams (PPM) and various Segment Marketing Teams. * Proactively communicate advertising programs internally to team members and externally to partners. * Assist in the development of MROI calculations for category campaigns. Responsibilities * Track and monitors co-op/MDF accounts. * Create formalized presentations and proposals to inform partners of new advertising activities. * Educate the Product Management Team and Brand Managers on the importance of co-op programs. * Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports tracking the co-op income vs. the category goal. * Participate in vendor activities during and after work hours. * Significant travel. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor''s Degree. * 2 years sales experience Other Required Qualifications * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships. * Proven record of multitasking and identifying priorities. * Strong presentation, organization and time management skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership. * History of working independently with little direction and being self-motivated. * Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to travel as required.
