Description
PURPOSE To perform general production operation duties deemed necessary and requested by the supervisor, manager or lead. This does not include machine operation.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES Conform to Jel Sert safety procedures, GMP requirements and work instructions Perform different tasks as requested throughout the shift (packing product, hand stacking product, mopping/sweeping, cleaning, etc.) Follow supervisor/manager/lead instructions Learn new duties and tasks quickly Identify safety and quality problems Keep work area(s) clean and free of safety hazards Perform other similar work are required
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Good motor skills and hand/eye coordination, willingness to perform different tasks throughout a shift, ability to identify quality problems and follow instructions, basic knowledge of GMP's and Jel Sert safety practices. No previous experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS Manufacturing/distribution and fast paced environment, a full range of motion is required (reaching/lifting), lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for the duration of a shift (8 hours or more), continuous work, possible exposure to various odors and powder dust, work independently.
