Job Description
The Marietta, OH production facility has an immediate opening for a general laborer position. This position will work in various laborer capacities as needed to help with the work volumes. Hours may be changed to accommodate changes in production volume and/or other business needs. Person in this position may be required to work overtime at the direction of Management. Must be able to offload cases and keep work area clean and free of debris. Must be able to assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning, sanitizing, and operating per manufacturers instructions. Must follow all SOP's in accordance with Dean Foods - Broughton's policies. Job Description * Stand 10-11 hours per shift * Grasp individual pieces for packing specific amounts * Turn & twist at waist level with moderate waist level bending * Visually inspect and sort product * Moderate lifting to 40 pounds * Be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions * Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team and to exercise independent judgment * Be able to use simple math * Observe all company safety rules and regulations * Observe all company Good Manufacturing Practices * Be able to perform the essential duties and responsibility with minimal supervision. * Benefits commensurate with CBA – Health, Dental, Vision, USP, Pension, Accrued Vacation and Sick Leave. * Starting Wage : $16.40an hour
Job Responsibilities Work Assignments as directed by plant supervision. Know and understand the various machines and stack off responsibilities. Must be able to work in various environments, including cooler environment. Must be able to operate a pallet lift both manual and electric.

Candidate must be able to work in a variety of environments, including wet, cold, and humid environments.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs continually
Must be able to pass a company physical, preemployment drug test, background check.
This position is required to participate in the rndom drug testing program.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to reach frequently, must have good motor skills.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization.
