  • Purchasing Manager The Purchasing Manager manages the performance (Quality, Costs & Deliveries) of the suppliers in the plant for production and non-production products. With a total spend of $70 million and target to achieve savings goals year over year by supporting Supply Chain & Quality to achieve target KPI for OTD and PPM. Essential: Develop segmentation plan for Plant Indirect spend (MRO, IT, Equipment/Fixtures, tooling, Marcom) Manage 3rd Party suppliers within the plant Supports the deployment of the actions plan linked with the purchasing strategy of Global Categories Defines/deploys strategies for categories locally driven Support Plant Buyer in escalation process and claim management Manage (coach & develop) his team to achieve the Business Unit target in line with Group targets. Manages the performance of non-production suppliers of his/her plant in relation with Plant Buyer, Non-production buyer, GCL & CL. Target to achieve goal savings yoy and support SC & Quality to achieve target KPI for OTD and PPM. Contributes to build/execute the yearly budget of his/her plant with the Plant Buyer New ideas settings Execution of common ideas Deploy and manage group rules and methods for purchasing of production & non productions C items not covered by GCL or CLs purchasing strategies Deploy actions plan to manage and control the Panel of his/her plant Ensure pricing/invoicing consistency Work with Plant Buyer to support CNQ claim back from non-production suppliers Manage and transform processes in line with global policies Liaise with other global Product Managers Capacity to challenge internal and external members to maximize goals SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Bachelor/or above degree, major in Mechanics, Electronics and/or specialization in purchasing At least 10 years work experience in purchasing as buyer (production material) or manager Negotiations, Management, Panel management; cost structure management, basic, purchasing strategies, Basic quality: problems solving, (8D, 5 why), APQP basic Management Ability to work within complex organization Accountability, results oriented Leadership Ability to use software packages e.g. Windows office, Access, etc. Fluent in English.
